Race Relations in the U.S. Reach Historic Low

With the explosion of Black anger targeting cities across America, one has to wonder how we got to such a low point in race relations after making so much progress in the past.  How could we have lost so much ground after electing the first Black president just six years ago?  How do you explain the dramatic increase in law enforcement problems in predominantly Black neighborhoods when the chief law enforcement officer of the country, Attorney General Eric Holder, is himself a Black American?  Well…it should be obvious to even the most unseasoned observer that race relations have gotten worse in this country because these two radicals have been picking at the scab of a healing country and then calling on quacks like Al Sharpton and other ‘professional Negros’ to rebandage the wound!

Little to Show after 45 Years of Assistance

After years of favorable treatment under affirmative action programs, a relatively small number of Black Americans have actually taken advantage of the opportunity to buy into the American Dream.  Notable exceptions include our first ‘affirmative action general’, Colin Powell, and our first ‘affirmative action’ president.  Despite the fact that others have had to compete with one hand tied behind their back and despite the millions of dollars that have been wasted on the War on Poverty, many Blacks simply have not taken the necessary steps to begin reaping the great bounty that this wonderful country offers to anyone who is willing to work hard.  Much of the blame is not theirs, since welfare programs have predictably stifled their will to achieve success and self-sufficiency.  By making Black Americans dependent on them, well-intentioned liberals have only made things worse for them.  Consequently, many Black Americans see no way out and see themselves as failures for not improving despite all the help from the state.  It seems, they are now directing this frustration and disappointment in themselves at the very cities they live in.

The Simple Common Sense Solution

Am I the only one who sees the simple common sense solution that Black Americans have had at their fingertips all along?  Stay in school, don’t get pregnant until you’re married and can afford to raise children, don’t use drugs, don’t commit crimes and don’t tangle with law enforcement officers.  This is a recipe for disaster no matter what your color.  A return to the family values that were once a staple of Black America with children being raised by a mother and a father is paramount.  Only Black Americans can solve this problem now and they can start by being thankful that they live in the greatest country in the world.  It’s time for all of us to accept the fact that there can be no more excuses.

Republicans Take Country Back

Republicans Sweep Races across the Country

Almost immediately after Barack Obama’s unexplainable re-election in 2012, many voters began to regret their decision to support him.  As Obama’s second term unfolded, the lies and illegal maneuvers he used to push his liberal agenda caused many Americans to come to terms with the fact that their president was a radical socialist.  Over the next two years, the bandwagon of anti-Obama voters became a steamroller, culminating in the historic Republican Sweep of House, Senate, Gubernatorial and State Legislative seats throughout the country.  Anyone who doubts the historic proportions of this win for conservatives needs only to look at the Republican Governors elected in the ultra-liberal states of Illinois, Maryland and Massachusetts!

Historic Victory Coincides with Reagan Anniversaries

As many have pointed out, Ronald Reagan would be proud to see that the country he loved has been taken back by the people he admired so much.  And, of course, it’s not lost on students of history that the Republican Sweep of November 4, 2014 coincides with the anniversaries of several of President Reagan’s major rendezvous with destiny.  Fifty years ago on October 27, 1964, Reagan addressed the nation with his nationally televised speech in support of Barry Goldwater.  This speech become known as “A Time for Choosing” and marked the beginning of the conservative movement in the United States.  This week’s Republican Sweep also coincides with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, which took place on November 9, 1989.  Reagan worked his entire adult life to bring an end to the ‘evil empire’ and it is he who is largely responsible for raising the iron curtain.  Because of this great Republican, millions across Europe now live in freedom.  Yes, there is, indeed, much to celebrate and be thankful for this week.

Fiscal Conservatives Must Unite for Midterm Elections

The Future of America is at Stake

Over the past few decades the Democrat party has increasingly become a rather homogenous group comprised mainly of left wing ideologues.  On the other hand, the Republican Party has remained a more heterogeneous group of individuals at the center and center-right of the political spectrum with core values that have not changed over the years.  Many, including myself, believe that the midterm elections next month and the presidential election of 2016 will determine the fate of our country.  It seems to me that if the Republican Party is big enough for the Tea Party Patriots, it is big enough for Libertarians as well.  Conservative gains in these upcoming elections will depend on whether these diverse groups can come together for a common cause.

Put Differences on Social Issues Aside

In the next few election cycles, Republicans, Tea Party Patriots, Libertarians, the so-called Religious Right and Reagan Democrats will need to come together in order to wrest control of our country back from the leftists.  We must put our differences on social issues aside and unite under our common beliefs, including our support for limited government, a balanced budget, a strong military, personal responsibility, self-reliance, capitalism, the constitution and American exceptionalism.  Wow!  That’s quite a lot that we all have in common!  Let’s work together to get out the vote for those who share these beliefs so that we can keep the American Dream alive for generations to come.
